I strongly suspect that the next magazine article pushing florals as the great trend of SS08 will send me on a towering rampage tearing it up, because I'm just a wee bit tired of them. Flowers, IMHO, look better in nature than they do on clothes, and Steven Meyers's floral radiographs have me nothing short of mesmerised- there are enough pretty pictures of flowers out there, but looking at them this way renders them strange and stark- unusual qualities for flowers to have- not to mention beautiful (which is much more normal, though not quite this way). Going here for a look at more of his work is strongly recommended, it's stunning...

Ahhh...ravishing. Florals for spring on clothes...nice, but not very original. Isn't that what every spring is about? Blooming.
These are Beautiful
Very Pretty...
Talking abt plants...heres something that is not form-centric (based on the looks of a thing)...Check out Methusaleh (A pine cone tree in California) and General Sherman ( A Giant sequoia again in California)...Both trees are beautiful beyond your wildest imagination.
awesome!!! i thought they wer xrays...they look a bit out of this world.
Really really beautiful...
The Clothes Horse: I know, spring and flowers just go hand-in-hand, but somehow this year has just taken it over the top.
Pufflet and Susie: Really glad you think so :)
The_Undead: I've seen pictures of both trees, they are gorgeous.
Fashion Tidbits: I'm really bad at science, but somehow I think radiographs and x-rays are the same thing..so you're probably right.
Very alien, especially the lily. It's almost like they're dead - it feels like a floral postmortem.
Beautiful.
I am loving the influx of all things floral at the minute!
Haha..Miss BFH... I have caught you...Neither of the trees I mentioned are beautiful in the way you speak of...but they are beautiful in a different way...a mysterious way that is more than skin deep.
