It might not have been entirely unexpected, given the pure cheesiness of the theme, but it's one thing to not go all-out with the spandex and capes ('Superheroes'? Hmmm), and another to look like you've forgotten about it altogether. But I really must confess to a sneaky love of what Michelle Trachtenberg's got on- that skirt really is as shiny as a seal pelt dipped in gold, and the one-shoulder neckline was a lovely change from regulation strapless. Nice touch of Amazon/goddess going on there..and whoever her stylist is, they deserve a pat on the back.

Actually I'd like it better if the skirt was a bit more rigid but I do love all that oozing gold...
I think the fact that it's fluid probably means it looks better in motion, but I love the shine on the skirt either way..
she looks amazing.
I agree, the theme was cheesy and the gowns somehow managed to be more so even though most of them had nothing to do with the theme whatsoever. But I must also admit Michelle looks great, and her along with Claudia Schiffer were amongst the few during that evening to manage to do so ( Unlike, say, Mary Kate Olson).
I have a secret love of Trachtenberg, even though she kind of annoys me. I can't understand it. Agree that she was one of the few who didn't look extremely questionable that night.
